Priscilla Cheng
Priscilla Cheng is a queer mental health provider committed to the wholeness, safety, and health of queer people.
Priscilla is a practicing Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, specializing in the intersection of queer and faith identities. Their experience ranges from working in community mental health organizations and school-based settings to private practice. They understand the unique and heavy experiences queer people face, including barriers to wellness and the need for systems, individuals, and providers alike to do better for the health of queer people. In 2021, Priscilla founded Pride and Grace Counseling, where they also provide training, consultation, and resources for organizations and other professionals alike to promote inclusion, affirming, and safe spaces for LGBTQ+ individuals.
Coming out later in life, Priscilla hopes that queer youth have the opportunity to discover themselves and live their truth. To this end, Priscilla is committed to supporting queer youth to find a safe place where they can explore and reach clarity. Priscilla's prayer is that queer youth will know that they too are precious, valued, and loved. They can exist in a way that includes their faith tradition, a loving self-view, and a community that embraces them.

I dedicate my work at Beloved Arise to
These three groups: (1) The queer elders who paved a way for us to exist here; (2) The people that have touched my heart and modeled that queerness is only a part of one's identity; and (3) The queer youth who have yet to learn that their queer part of identity is beautiful too
