About

My name is Sabrina and I am a proud bisexual Modern Orthodox Jew!

pronouns : she/her

Growing up, my family resided in religious communities. We would observe all the holidays and go to the synagogue on Saturdays, but I didn't have a strong connection to a lot of it. In high school, I joined a local Jewish youth group where I found mentors who helped me strengthen my relationship with G-d and Judaism. Around the same time, I started figuring out my sexuality, but found myself feeling isolated since I had no people like myself who were queer and religious. However, even with those challenges, I continued to persevere, learn, and grow. Now, I'm so excited to become a youth ambassador because I can be the representation for someone that I didn't have myself. I want to show young queer Jewish people that if Judaism is something you find meaningful, don't be afraid to pursue it; queer religious Jews exist! More about me: my hobbies include drawing, reading, journaling, and watching shows.
